From Beginner to Expert, We Offer Classes For All
private lessons
AN EDUCATION DESIGNED JUST FOR YOU
Private Lessons are an opportunity to work one-on-one with one of our educators to develop your skills in a personalized way. Whether you’re interested in understanding the basics of sewing or looking to start designing your first collection, we are here to help. We have worked with all materials and projects from bridal to backpacks. We can even bring in specialty instructors for projects like special effects make up and hand sewn wigs.
Private Lessons are available for adults as well as children ages 9 and up.
All levels are encouraged!
These classes can be scheduled according to your needs and follow a path that we will build up together in order to help you accomplish your sewing goals. For students and clients with ambitious projects or goals, we offer a complimentary half hour consultation before beginning Private Lessons so that you can map out and customize your curriculum. If you have little experience (or none at all) we typically start with a beginner level tote bag to get you comfortable with working on a sewing machine.
From there, your opportunities are endless!
Initial Class $200. Followed by
$75 per Hour.
$500 package for eight hours
$3,000 semester package for fifty hours
in-home lessons
In-Home Lessons are a personalized opportunity to work on projects of your choice from the comfort of your own home.
If you already have your own sewing machine, it can be nice to familiarize yourself with it without having to transport it all over the city. We will come to you and help you with your project in your personal creative space. Upon request, we can provide structured project-based lessons and supplies. This is a great option for kids after school. Don’t have a machine? We will be happy to bring one of ours for an additional $90 fee.
These classes can be scheduled as desired.
$90 per hour. An additional $90 for travel will be applied.
Pre-Planned Projects
You are able to set your own schedule for these courses and personalize them to your sewing needs. We can offer pricing for one-four students for each.

Introduction To Sewing
Perfect for Beginners!
In this privately instructed course your teacher will spend four weeks teaching you how to sew and develop a basic vocabulary for sewing construction at your own pace. You will make a tote bag, learn how to prepare and cut fabric, and begin to develop a customized project.
5 Two-Hour Classes, $700
Pattern Making BOOT CAMP
Interested in creating custom patterns?
This class will guide you through proper measurement techniques for drafting a pattern sloper for the top or bottom half of the body. You will then learn how to modify this basic pattern to create custom designs. This intermediate level course requires previous sewing experience.
5 Two-Hour Classes, $700 (Half body)
9 Two-Hour Classes $1,200 (Whole body)
Make Your Own T-Shirt
Expand your knowledge of materials in this course as you learn techniques for working with stretch materials.
You will work with an existing pattern and develop skills to sew your own t-shirt. Work on creating custom designs throughout the course to apply to future projects. Previous sewing experience not required.
4 Two-Hour Classes, $500
WORKSHOPS
Due to Covid-19, these courses will be taught as Private Lessons rather than in a group setting with the exception of your friends and family.

Beginner Tote Bag
Never touched a machine? No Problem! This introductory class shows you the basics of threading a sewing machine and helps you create your own tote bag.
2 Hours $200
Wine Night 21+
A fun twist on our introductory tote bag class! Come and enjoy a glass of wine (or two) while learning to sew a tote bag that is the perfect fit for your favorite type of vino.

Leather Tote Bag
An advanced version of our tote bag workshop. You will learn the proper ways to work with leather and the best tools and equipment to use. Vegan options are also available!

Cat Toy
Get acquainted with a sewing machine and hand sewing while making a gift for your furry friend.. Enjoy your #caturday making this eco-friendly cat toy. All materials included.

Alterations
From fixing a hem to perfecting the fit of a shirt to sewing that button back on your jacket, our Alterations Workshop is the best way to start making the most out of all those clothes sitting in your closet.

Learn to work with repurposed fabrics in order to make comfortable and reusable face masks. A more sustainable approach to keeping you and your loved ones healthy and safe.

A creative opportunity for team enrichment. We are able to come to your workplace or host groups at the academy. This is a great way to expand your team's knowledge if you are working in a fashion-adjacent industry or develop new skills if you in a different lane. These events can be scheduled as a one-time programming or can be recurring based on your interests.
